Did Mignola saw this one yet? Really good one, man!

Hell no! Once I drew a picture of HB and Abe playing Uno and gave it to Mr. Mignola at Comicon in 2006, and I do not know what he did with it, I'm sure has a drawer for that kind of stuff, but that is all the real interaction I have ever had with the man, aka legend.

I'm sure he took the picture and framed it and right now it is adorning the centre spot above his drawing table right now, every time he feels demotivated and can't quite finish that script/panel, he just looks up and remembers why he's doing all of this..

It's for you, Nate.

(are you crying yet?)

I'm crying, Fnar Fnar... and it's really embarrassing here at work. So thanks for that!

This is sketch bloody fantastic, by the way.

Thank you for proving to people that it IS possible to draw Hellboy on model without aping Mignola.

I *heart* you.

This is one of the best interpretations of Hellboy I've seen.

I recall SDCC '97. I had David Williams (the great, renowned, and totally awesome) create a Hellboy sketch for me. He specifically asked that I not show it to Mike because he was embarrassed that Mike might hate it. Moral of the story; regardless of caliber of artist many hold Mike's version of Hellboy as the pinacia. That being said, this version kicks butt, Nate!
